I was skeptical that a machined permanent marker could feel worth it, but the bolt-action click is genuinely satisfying and has that heft you don't get from plastic disposables. Been using it daily for a week to label boxes and parts, and the ink lays down clean every time without skipping.
The cap clicks on securely and the tip writes bold and smooth right out of the box—no shaking or priming needed. I've been using it daily for marking metal parts and the ink hasn't faded or smeared yet, which is more than I can say for my old standbys.
